About Us
The HEART of Listening Heart Ministries is to be a listening ear, a sounding board, and thinking partner to those in Christian ministry. Our passion is to encourage and build up others by undergirding them with love, prayer, coaching, training, and counsel. We have the ability to stand with those who may be hurting or going through difficulties in life and ministry, all the while remaining in the background with a listening posture.
Mark & Jill have been in ministry for nearly 40 years. Mark has served in roles ranging from children’s pastor, to lead pastor to church planter. He currently serves as an Associate Pastor at his local church and a regional director with Elim Fellowship. His heartbeat is in ministering to ministers, helping pastors and leaders navigate the landmines of ministry and family life.
He launched Listening Heart Ministries in 2020 for pastors and leaders who need a listening ear and a friend in ministry.
Mark has been serving as a pastor to pastors for many years, gifted in the areas of encouragement, listening, motivation, and coaching. A gifted public speaker, Mark loves to “rally the troops” around the Pastor’s vision, inspiring the church to come together in unity around their primary purpose - reaching their world for Christ. Mark is also a Certified Ministry/Life Coach.
Mark
and Jill love spending time together gardening and camping by the lake with his two married children and seven grandchildren. He also loves working out at the gym daily, Tiger baseball and Michigan football.
